Youth Ministries
The Morningstar youth ministry exists to help youth experience the love of Christ, grow in their faith and explore God's call on their lives. We do this through caring adults who love youth and want to invest time and energy in helping them in their journey. We are here to partner with parents, helping them to grow Godly young people who know and love God and others. We realize the awesome responsibility and privilege God gives us when He entrusts us with his children; we also know how difficult it can be when parents are "on their own". We are here to support, encourage, and love parents and youth.
L.I.F.T.
L.I.F.T. stands for Living in Faith Together. L.I.F.T meets Sundays from 5 until 7 pm at local homes. In addition to the weekly meetings, L.I.F.T sponsors activities such as retreats for youth, trips to Six Flags, Fall campfires, and Christmas parties. Families of youth are welcomed at many events.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Youth Sunday school is on Sunday mornings, 10:10 -10:55 am.
SENIOR HIGH SMALL GROUPS
Sr. High Girls small group meets on Monday nights, and Sr. High Boys small group meets on Wednesday nights. Topics and locations vary. In an effort to build Christian leaders who are comfortable sharing their faith, group curriculum is chosen and led by the students themselves. These groups may have outside preparations and readings for lessons. These groups offer senior high students an opportunity to work to become firmly planted in their faith before beginning their post-secondary pursuits. For details, see Ms. Kim or Mr. Michael.
